What if it’s all too good to forget?

There is a thrill that comes with skirting on the edge of uncertainty. We can get bored if things stay the same for too long, but what happens when change inevitably comes? They say that the grass is always greener, but shouldn’t old things eventually shrivel up and turn gray? If that’s the logic, how does it all still seem so full of life? The body is a museum of moments preserved in time, held behind stained glass and keeping us at a distance. How can we let go of grief while still holding on to the memories we cherish?
